Twenty years of operations. Now we build the systems.
Mimlet Operations builds custom software that runs growing businesses. The experience behind it comes from two decades running operations in events and hospitality, and the systems work in any industry.
Operations, learned on the floor.
Gordon has spent more than two decades leading operations in the events and hospitality industry. He knows what a peak-season Saturday feels like from the inside: the late headcount change, the deposit that never came in, the booking that fell through the cracks between two systems.
Working with other owners, he found the same patterns everywhere: work that lives in one person's head, tools that don't talk to each other, and numbers nobody sees until it's too late. A sheet metal shop and a wedding venue have more in common than you'd think.
And the software they relied on was usually part of the problem. It was built by tech companies trying to solve problems they'd never lived, and it tried to do everything for everyone. So Mimlet builds systems that fit each client's business instead, priced around how they earn.
Four principles behind every system.
Fit over features
We start with how your business works and build to that. If a feature doesn't earn its place, it doesn't go in.
Your data, your business
Your customer records and history belong to you and can be exported any time. Every system comes with plain-language guides for your team. No black boxes.
Incentives that line up
Software is priced around how each client earns, often as a small commission on what the system processes, so we do well when you do. There are never per-seat fees.
Plain language
No jargon and no 80-page specs. Clear screens, clear pricing and a clear next step at every stage.
